The Hotel Costa Linda is a friendly and clean hotel located in the villaje of Porto da Cruz, near the church, next to the sea. Costa Linda is a small and family oriented touristic hotel that was built on the ruins of an old mill and a factory of produce of various products derived from sugar cane. It was founded on 13 of May 2004.
Hotel Costa Linda offers 6 double rooms, 6 twin rooms and 1 apartment type room. All rooms have phone, heating and of course a television with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a small balcony, where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the sea, other have a panoramic mountain view. All guests can use a shared sitting room with a good view of the sea.
Surroundings
In Costa Linda, you can relax and enjoy the sea and mountains. Outside the hotel, and around the village, there is path near the sea ideal for walking or running and at the same time enjoying the view.
The beach is a few meters from the hotel, and if you feel uncomfortable swimming in the sea, there is a small salt water public swimming pool at 30 m walk. Our rare black beaches are world known and it only takes you 100 m to walk to find the nearest black sand beach, one of the few sandy
beaches on Madeira Island. Perfect for surfing and canoeing.
Apart from that, the village has small spaces where children can play, a small supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, a post office, a bank and a bus stop. At 15 minutes by car there is also a golf course.
