The Hotel also has a restaurant, “Praça do Engenho”, which has a maximum capacity of 150 people.
It offers a local menu based on Madeira’s traditional cuisine, with a wide variety of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. If the weather is good you can have dinner or lunch on the terrace, overlooking our beautiful sea.
The restaurant offer a modern peak into Madeira culture: the walls of the restaurant are the original old factory walls on which the restaurant was build, and the floor inside the restaurant is made of the traditional “Calçada-Portuguesa”. The pavement outside is a traditional sidewalk Madeirense called “Calhão”.
